Author’s Note
As a certified Korean teacher and lifelong language learner, I've witnessed the challenges students face when learning new vocabulary—challenges I've experienced myself.
To support effective vocabulary acquisition, I began sharing educational content on social media in 2022. Each word in this collection has been personally selected from the National Institute of Korean Language's recommended beginner vocabulary list, complemented by terms from my real-life experiences. I've also included vocabulary related to Korean culture, food, and seasonal expressions.
Learning new words can be an overwhelming experience, which is why I've paired each term with charming illustrations created by talented designers. This visual approach helps you remember and understand Korean vocabulary more effectively.
My sincere hope is that this book makes learning Korean both easy and enjoyable. I'm already working on my next project, which will teach you how to create sentence structures using patterns commonly used in everyday Korean conversation.
Thank you for your support, and I wish you the very best on your language learning journey.
